New Hope for Bears in Japan

Wild Welfare has been working in Japan to address concerns over the welfare of hundreds of bears held in bear parks. We’re pleased to announce that the Japan Bear Network (JBN) has agreed to partner with us, to support and provide continued investigation of the bear parks.

JBN is a membership-based organisation created to promote the co-existence of people and bears in Japan. By working with bear experts from within the country, we can continue to push for better standards of care and welfare.
