Introducing the Newest Member of the Team

New year, new team member! This January we welcome a new Communications Manager to the team, Kezia Fentiman.

Kezia has worked in animal-related communications for several years. This includes a stint working with a wildlife conservation organisation in Malawi where she was exposed to some of the issues facing the world’s captive wild animals.

Over time Kezia has developed a particular interest in the way language and images of animals are used in a marketing context.

Kezia said, “I was absolutely in awe the first time I saw Bella, a lioness who had been rehomed to live out her days in a sanctuary I worked at in Malawi. I feel so lucky to be joining a team who are working towards such meaningful change for animals like Bella across the world.

I have always strived to combine my love of animals with my enjoyment of all things comms-related, and am really looking forward to helping raise awareness of Wild Welfare’s amazing work.”

As the Communications Manager, Kezia will work closely with the fundraising and animal welfare managers to drive forward our communications, both internally and externally. This includes developing our digital content and welfare resources.
