The zoo volunteer helping Hanoi’s animals

Animals Asia zoo volunteer, Sarah Blake, has been assisting Hanoi Zoo in Vietnam over the last three months, adding new enrichments for the animals and helping the keepers offer better care for monkeys, bears, tigers and many of the facility’s other animals.

Work has been ongoing at Hanoi Zoo since 2013, with Wild Welfare, Animals Asia and Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation, partnering on projects that have enabled significant animal welfare improvements to be rolled out across the facility.

Sarah is a previous employee of Yorkshire Wildlife Park and is the latest volunteer to spend time at the Zoo.
