We’re thrilled to share a remarkable piece of art created by our incredible ambassador, Megan Elizabeth. This beautiful female orangutan, observed by members of Wild Welfare was witnessed scavenging for food at Gomantong Caves in North-East Sabah, Malaysia. It quickly became clear that she had cataracts one of her eyes. She exemplifies the adaptivity and resilience of these amazing but endangered creatures.
This piece is named Harapan – which means ‘Hope’ in Malay.
Megan has generously donated this one-of-a-kind pastel artwork, with 100% of the proceeds going to Wild Welfare. This contribution will help support our mission of improving animal welfare around the world.
