Meet our new Fundraising Officer!

We’re delighted to welcome Victoria Fanthorpe to our team here at Wild Welfare. Victoria brings both her skills as a fundraiser and her passion for wildlife and community development to this new role.

Prior to joining Wild Welfare, Victoria worked for the Mara Elephant Project in Kenya and a wildlife sanctuary in Namibia, where she supported their conservation work and the sanctuary itself. Victoria has also held fundraising positions with international development organisations including The Karen Hilltribes Trust which supports the marginalised Karen people in northern Thailand, Health Poverty Action and Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO).

Victoria said: “I am really excited to be working for Wild Welfare, which is making a difference to improving the lives of animals living in captivity around the world, working with zoos to support good animal welfare practices.”

Victoria has more than has more than 20 years of experience as a fundraiser for both international development and wildlife conservation organisations. We’re really excited she has joined us to help grow support for Wild Welfare and our global projects – welcome to the team Victoria!
